Dr. Daniel Rollings Karlin, MD, MA, is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Columbia University. He completed residency training in Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he has remained a member of the psychiatric faculty for more than a decade, winning several awards for teaching excellence.
He is board-certified in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and medical informatician with a passion for advancing these fields through clinical research and drug and technology development. After training, Dr. Karlin built his first private practice, which grew to six facilities providing various services, including psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and addiction treatment.
Dr. Karlin’s clinical expertise encompasses psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, enabling him to provide comprehensive care for patients struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions. He is particularly interested in working with patients struggling with anxiety, depression, inattention, relationship, and intimacy issues. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Dr. Karlin is recognized as a leader in his field.
